Some time ago we had occasion to draw the attention of the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice to the inconvenience that was being cerused to the members of the Bar by the eclusion from his Lordship’s Court of even clerks cf Solicitors and Advocates. [...] We understand the authorities have declared that neither of the above courses is feasible and that deposits must continue to be made in the premises of the Reserve Bank; but as to the risk of leaving deposits unreceipted for two or three days it has been provided that receipts of a temporary or informal kind would be issued prior to the return of the chalans. [...] 1. in which the title of the Act is decribed to be the Hindu Women's Right t.;> Property Act read with the preamble (w'hicuh cannot ordinarily be relied upon for the construction of the statute) means that none but women shall get any benefit under this Act then the lineal male descendants including the sons go out of the operation of the Act. [...] 199 of the Criminal Procedure Code that no Court shall take conisance of an offence under sec 497 or 498 of the Penal Code except upon a complaint shade by the husband of the woman or in his absence made with the leave of the Court by some person who had the care of such woman on his behalf at the time when such offence was committed. [...] If the prosecution succeeds in making out a case that the coRalainant had the husband's authority to take care of the wife on his behalf so that the complainant stood in the place of the lhu band for the time being while the huband was living quite independently in another part of the town the requirements of sec.
