We pointed out on the publication of the report of the Rowlatt Sedition Committee that the Government should for the sake of epediency refrain for the present from hurrying up legislation to give effect to the recommenations of the Committee but it seems that the Government feel that after having appointed a Committee presided over by one of His Majesty’s Judges of the High Court of Englan [...] No doubt Me very appointment of a Commission can hardly be justified if its findings are ignored by the Government which appointed it but the momentous changes that have taken place both in the general outlook of the people and that of the Government in this country as as in England since the Report was published would leave justified the Government of India in posponing for the present the t [...] The Court in so deciding will not in any way impeach the correctness or the validity of the order of the Executing Court. [...] On the same date on which the deed of assignment was executed the Plaintiff instituted this suit for recovery of the money due on the mortgage-bond by the sale of the mortgaged property. [...] The lower Appellate Court modified the decree for rent to the extent that the Plaintiff was entitled to rent at the rate of Rs.
