But he is chosen from the ranks of the profession and by tradition he is not merely a representative of the judiciary and the legal profession but occupies a seat in the Cabinet by virtue of his position as the head of the judiciary. [...] As for the second suggestion of the Incoporated Law Society that a Central Law School should be established in London although it is not favoured by the Bar Council evidently in the interest of the Isms of Court yet we notice that it has the whole-hearted support of the chief organs of legal opinion representing the views of both sections of the legal profesion. [...] It is worthy of note that in the defence the defendant based his case on two grounds ; (1) denial of the acts (2) such acts (if done) were " without his authority and against his express orders." The defence that the acts were not " in the course of the employment " of the carters was not directly raised. [...] The Defendants' allegation of the purchase of this share of the second son of Golam was also found to be collusive and that the Plaintiffs were found' to be in possession previous to the suit and thereafter. [...] The learned Munsif who tried the case found that the Plaintiff was not in possession of the property as sublessee and the lower Appellate Court also agreed with the first Court and the suit was dismissed.
