It may be of interest in this connection to note the changes that have baba brought about by the Statute of 1929 on the provsions of the previous statutes regarding the remuneration of ex-Indian Judges-in the Judicial Committee. [...] 7 of the Appellate Juridiction Act of 1929 repeals the provision of the Act of 1833 regarding the payment of £800 except with regard to the present icumbent. [...] The heading of the first column of those entries is the nuber of the case of the second column the District of the third the prisoner's name and df the fourth " Date on which the case was ready for hearing." The italics are ours. [...] In the case cited if an atempt was made to file the vakalatnama in the office on Friday in the morning the office would inevitably refuse to accept it on the ground that the record had already gone up to their Lordships ; and unless the Advocate concerned could manage to scure an interview of the Hon'ble Judges and intercept them in disposing of the case before their order was signed ther [...] Between the date of the admission of the petition of insolvency and the adjudication of the said petition certain properties blonging to the insolvent were sold in exection of a decree by one L and the sale prceeds were handed over to the decree-holder.
