But curiously enough to Lord Sinha with his rise at the Bar and indifference towards politics political prizes unique in the life-history of any member of the Bar in India—Advocate-Generalship Law Mebership to the Governor-General’s Executive Council Membership of the British Cabinet with a British Peerage and Membership of the Judicial Committee as successor to Lord Parmoor and a Provinc [...] It is well-known that Sir Provash from the days of the Lucknow Pact to the closing days of the Round Table Conference was well aware that communal representation aimed at the elimination of the politicallminded people from the country's legislature and all credit is due to him for having put up a strenuous fight for securing a fair share of representation of the intelligentsia in the provincial [...] The Defents thereupon in execution proceedings aimed an assessment of the damages Iffered by them by reason of the terrary injunction and a payment to them the Plaintiffs of the sum so assessed or so uch thereof as was covered by the secty bond ; in default a sale of the prrties given as security was prayed for. [...] 1 000; c. 145 also did not apply as the Plaintiffs d the Defendants were parties to the suit; e Defendants also could not bring a suit smuch as the security bond was not exted in their favour but in favour of the urt and the Court not being a juridical rson could not assign the bond to the Ddants. [...] But in the circustances of the case the proper course would have been not to dismiss the appeal fortwith but ask the Appellant to value the appeal and to pay court-fee thereon even though the counsel for the Appellant had not expressed his willingness to do so.
