[...] With the exception of a shoot of fairly good ore north and south of Glen's Shaft in the lowest workings and an improvement in the East Reef in Garland's section the hopes of the previous year have not been realized although the continuity of the reef in depth has been proved in the northern as well as the southern section of the property. [...] tinuous ore body in the deepest points of the northern section of the mine and the continuance of what is termed the folded portion of the Main Lode in depth. [...] The Main Lode occurs about the middle of the mining block the Schist Lode lies about 250 feet to the east of it and the West Lode about 800 feet to the west of it. [...] The ferruginous quartz schists are known to carry small quantities of gold in other parts of the Province as for example along the ridges lying to the west of the Kolar Gold Field and at Jowanhalli in the Tumkur District but so far the quantities of gold found are too small to be payable.
