[...] In him we have the best meeting-ground of the East and the West of the ancient and the modern of religion and science. [...] The contemporary activities of the people in the West who are affiliated with the Churches and the present activities of the Hindus and Mohammedans in India do not justify the idea that mere acceptance of an organization or a sect changes the human personality.
