Thus in Seshagiri Sastri's Geschichte der indisehen Literatur iii p. 124.174 'bowls of tho Pfamlorkar Orio11471 Research Report ' the Ms of the work ( with SC ) noticed consists of three sections of which the first contains 106 verses the second 108 the number of verses in the third section not being given in the notice. [...] Similarly of the fifteen Mss of KK noticed in the Madras Government Oriental Library Catalogue 2 six contain the SC but almost all ( where the Ms in question is complete ) give three sections of the text although the catalogue omits all mention of the number of verses in each section in the different Mss. [...] If the designation Sataka given by Pdpayallaya Sari' is meant to indicate the definite number of one hundred verses then one must hold that the work shared the sum fate of interpolal:ion as the earlier Satakas of Amaru and Bliartrhari But in the SVVP edition the sections are called 2S.-'";visas while in some of the Mss of the Madras Government atra prathama4atake chloke mama maim!) cra ima [...] The identity of the opening verse of KK and the Suinahgala-stotra shows that the Mangala141oka in the different works attributed to Bilvmangala could have been the same. [...] It would appear from the above discussion of available materals that we can trace a considerable number of verses of the188 Annals of the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute second and third sections of Papayallaya's text in other works attributed to Bilvamaiagala while the citations in the anthlogies ( including the PaVivali ) assign some of the verses of these sections to other authors
