[...] The Pai§aci of Hemacandra is moelled on that of Namisadhu or on the pattern of that source which was before Namisadhu ; and the details like the simplification of the conjuncts so st etc. [...] The difference in the spelling does not necessarily imply the difference in the significance attached to it i. e. the spelling and the significance are not logically connected. [...] Bagchi finds that the name appears with different spellings ; Culika Salik and Jhillika and of these Culika and Sillika are the most frequent ; both of them appear as the variants of the same name and both are located in the same region either the North or the North-West.
