It is the duty of the Prime Minister to furnish information to the President relating to the silministration of the affairs of the Union and prpocilq for legislation whenever the President may call for the same. [...] The usual provisions for the summoning prrogation and dissolution of the Houses of the Union Parliament the conduct of business therein the diqualifications of members thereof and the Legislative procedure of the two Houses including procedure in financial matters have been included generally on the lines' of similar provisions contained in the Goverment of India Act 1935. [...] similar to those of the Vice-Presidnt There provision in the Dral° enabling the Legislature of the State (or the President) to make necessary arrangments for the discharge of the functions of the Governor in any unforeseen contingency. [...] the appointment of the Chairman and members ot the State Public Service COMMi4giOR and the Auditoin-Chief of the State and the mole of a proclamation suspending the ronstitution in ease of grave emegency threatening the peace and tranquillity of the State. [...] One-half of the members of the Council are to be chosen flow panels on a functional 113+1m and ins-third of the niembeis to be elected by the :numbers of the Leg'lative Assembly in accord:ince with the system of proportional rpteenlatoin by means of the single iranferable..iote and the remainder are to be wmlin:etcd ley the GOVC1110r.
