The size of the yoke depends on the width of the rows of plants to be intercultivated. [...] Up to the present the method of improving the food supply for village cattle which has received the greatest attention is the popularization of the practice of growing fodder grasses. [...] If you are interested in the performance of the daughter palms in relation to the mother palms as you should be keep the nuts from the different palms and bunches separate and number each nut according to its mother palm number and bunch number ; and when planting the nuts in the nursery be careful that the nuts do not get mixed. [...] For instance if the nut is the 3rd"221 nut of the 1st bunch of the 52nd palm of the 6th block on the estate the number on the nut should be VI-52-1-3. [...] An attack of scale insects will be observed by the appearance of yellow spots on the leaves accompanied by the presence of the insects themselves on the undesurfaces of the leaves.
