If however we suppose Karmditya to have been 6o years old at the time of the erection of the temple then the date of the birth of Vidyipati would be 1397 A. D. Considering all references we may reasonably put the date of Vidyapati between 1390 and 1490 A. D. This is very near the date proposed by the late Satis Chandra Ray.
