The problem is not merely an admiistrative one but involves the function of the State in the field of education and indeed the whole orientation of the individual. [...] The quetion of education touches too deeply the meaning and purpose of life the possibility of establishing a Christian life for Catholics to yield without a struggle to the demands made in the name of the State.
