M. Tsurumi of the Health Committee of the League of Nations this Section of the World Federation prepared the following set of recommendations regarding the school health program which were embodied in resolutions passed by the Health Committee of the League at Geneva on October 6 1926. [...] "The school health programs of the world can best be developed along three main lines : " 1. Analysis and control of school environment in its relation to the healthful development of the child while in school for the purpose of securing the optimum use of this factor in the development and growth of the child with respect to : " Air conditions Light Freedom of movement Relaxation Balance of a [...] It is the purpose of the Health Section to promote the quality of health work in the schools of the world (1) by making available to the leaders in each country a knowledge of the activities and progress in other countries (21 by the discussion of methods and (3) by the formulation of sound programs and recommendations which through the endorsement of the World Federation will aid in securing n [...] We must plan for the best possible health training of teachers continued improvement in the training of the various specialists used in the public school and a growing appreciation of the importance of school health on the part of the officers of school administration. [...] To cope up with this task of bringing in a regeneration of ushering in the period of renaissance most successfully and in a manly way pray very fervently to the Lord Almighty– the Giver of all good and precious gifts—that He may endow you with the heart of a child the head of a Socrates the sinews of a Hercules the steadiness and perseverance of a Lincoln or Franklin or of Bruce the fervour
