It is the writer's prayer that God Almighty may give him strength to keep the reputation of the "Education" untarnished ! He requests the General Secretary of the Association the various Circle Secretaries the Secretaries of the many Committees of the Association kindly to send him regular news of the activities of their circles or committees and the Secretary of the Protection Committee particu [...] Tarachand' History of India which is written to express' the one 'increasing purpose of the evolution of Indian unity ' or the attainment of a oneness of society and civilisation transcending the plurality of races tribes creeds and cultures ; or Vincent Smith's History of India recognising the unity in diversity or the fundamental cultural unity of the people of India or Jadunath Sarkar's Ind [...] The teachers while organising the students keep themselves in the back-ground and this makes the students feel that they are personally responsible for the good management for the good name and the good tone of the house. [...] The Prefect (or the District Officer ) the Mayor of the town and the judges are ex-officio members of the Committee of Managment which also includes representatives of teachers and tutors and two representatives of the parents nominated by the Minister. [...] The supervising staff of a French Lycee does not wield the same influence and cannot mould and shape the character of boy ; in the same manner as the teacher or the house-master of an English Public School The main feature of the Public School System is to leave the teacher and the taught together for a period much longer than that required for mere instruction in different subjects.
