With the permission of the President of the Municipality various open spaces in the l'ark have been surveyed and the most suitable has been found to be the area bounded on the south by the pond in the enclosed deer run on the north by the surplus drain front the lake on the east by the canal and on the west by the road leading from the baud stand past the lake. [...] The utilizatioon of this site will necessitate the removal of the fern house the crocdile and reptile sheds and the elephant stand and the fownation of a new enclosure to the south for the deer run.
