The Earl of Meath had led a spirited controversy in the columns of the London Times on the subject and attention has been drawn to the systmatic manner in which patriotism' is taught and developed in the United States of America. [...] The noble Earl suggests a general holiday for all schools throughout England on the Annversary of the Queen's Accession and the asembling of the children at the school on the morning of the same day in order that they may salute the national flag and receive a short address on the subject.
