In connection with the devlopment of the system of trial by ordeals it is also interesting to note that while the system is unknown to the Arthaiistra of Kautilya it sprouted at the time of the codes of Manu and Yajfivalkya and has fully grown at that of the Mitak.yhard of Vijrianegvara and the Divyatatva of Brihaspati. D. Vijayanagar consisting of the fall of the Sangama dynasty and the establishment of the Saluvt.
