Rule 105 :—Members of the Asiatic Society of Bengal and of Branches and Asso:iate Societies are entitled while on furlough or otherwise temporarily resident within the limits of Great Britain and Ireland to the use of the Library as Non-resident Members and to attend the Meeting of the Society other than Special General Meetings; and in the case of any Member of any Society aforesaid applying f [...] In the pages of the Quarterly Journal of the Mythic Society a permanent record of its work and of its contribution to the study of the humanities are enshrined a rich and valuable mine of learning and research in the different branches of human knowledge. [...] So I appeal to every one of the members of the Mythic Society to contribute his or her share in the reconstruction of the history of our ancient land through the medium of the My thic Society and make the Mythic Society a really live centre of activity. [...] This is also the outcome of the tendency of fetishism on the part of the primitive man similar to the worship of the Dharma slab. [...] Another episode of the work is called paw It describes the story of the prevalence of epidemic pox in the kingdom of Virata and the subsequent release from its clutches by means of the worship of S'itala.
