Principles of economics tend to be permanent in the measure in which we look upon life as transient and formulate our laws in the perspective of Time for the progress of the human race from the violent barbarity of beast life to the cultural life of go [...] The phenomenal rise of the early Muslims the rapid transfomation of the Russians and the Chinese the spirit of some other of the modern nations in the Axis camps—they are not the result of merely wise counsels balanced judgment or expert knowledge.
