[...] As the heat and the warmth and the light of the Sun were the symbols by which the World-Teacher gave knowledge and wisdom to the first religion of our Aryan race so we find that after a while He retired and left in the field His pupils to carry on the knowledge and to spread the truths He taught. [...] And the priests were taught to " follow the Light " and the people were told to "seek for the Light";' and so everywhere in ancient Egypt the Light was the symbol of the Godhead and only as it irradiated the heart of man could man hope to realise the splendour of the divine Life.
