We may add to that even if the policies of the Government in regard to the internal and external air services are approved by the Aviation Policy Committee these Post-war Policy Committees cannot usurp the function of the Central Legislature and ;. ncral z:pproval of even such committees cannot commit the representatives of the people as a whole. [...] The Goernment's announcement has been heralded by a series of disquieting report:: official and non-official regarding the extensive failure of `kharif' crop in several parts ol' the Deccan and the Karnatak owing to the unsatisfactory nature of the monsoon earlier ;r1 the year. [...] The object of the arrangements is obviously to safeguard the interests of the assured in the States. [...] The loss of the political power in the i9th century coincided in time with the completion of industrial revolution in Europe and the decline of Indian shipping was probably due to the develoment of the ship built of steel.
