When the Congress became obsessed with non-co-operation the extremists who were then the arbiters of the destiny of the Congress abolished both the paper and the Committee. [...] The difference in soil types as represented by the old and the new alluvium and the remoteness or nearness from the active silt-laden rivers for the most part accounts for the difference between the agricultural depression in Central and Western Bengal and the prosperity in Eastern Bengal. [...] The surface of the old alluvium on the other hand is broken by the scouring action of the rivers and of surface drainage and the level of the the country rises and falls in parallel waves at right angles to the watershed the crest of each wave lying midway between two rivers. [...] It is a redeemer in the human sense of the term for it redeems our lower nature the counterpart in the human microcosm of the macrocosmic Apara Prakriti and unites it in bonds of perpetual harmony to the Self as a purified and regenerated instrument of service to God and man. [...] From the foregoing considerations it will appear evident that the trinity of jnana-bhaktkarma is a secondary trinity thrown off precipitated imaged forth by the primary basic trinity of the universe the trinity of cosmic principles but that being the correltions in the world of evolution of the three aspects of Atma Self this secondary trinity is just as enduring as the primary and orig
