[...] But in the present passage she stands as an upamEma for Indra and is apparently under the sway of her `Marya' may be the sway of affection; 'abhimanyamano ' is characteristic of Viimadeva and is quite in keeping with the sentiment of the first half of the stanza; see below Nos.
