[...] IN its resolution on the report submitted by the Director of Puclic Instruction for 1912-13 the Punjab Government remarks that althongh by the separation of Delhi the province lost 93 institutions and 7 585 pupils the number of schools still rose by 356 and the number of pupils by 21 685 of whom 18 8r5 were boys and 2 870 were girls. [...] The resolution states that the greatest progress in the provision of primary and middle school buildings was made in the Multan division and in respect of high schools in the Jullunder division. [...] He hoped that the expression of the Senate's opinion would now open the eyes of those entrusted with the care of the Institute.
