The new venture of the Panini Office consists in the serial publication of the Puranas the Encylopadiu Inclicas of Hindu literature with English translation introduction as well as critical and historical notes under the name of The Sacred !7 Lore of India." We hope the series will be of help to the now growing band of Scholars both'; Indian and European who have been interesting thesel [...] The name of the prize-winner shall be published in papers and the prize will be awarded on the occsion of the annual session of the Punjab Hindu Conference or of the Punjab Hindu Sabha every year. [...] J. J. Hensman for the Registrar of the University the Registrar being absent owing to indisposition proceeded in procession to the dais at the southern end of the Hall where the Degrees were conferred the Band playing and the candidates standing during the procession. [...] The Hon'ble Dewan Bahadur L. D. Swamikannu Pillai m. A. B. Registrar of Co-operative Societies delivered the usual Convocation Address which was as follows :- MY LORD Cita NCRLLOR Ladies and Gentlmen —In obedience to the command of H. E. the Chancellor of the University I have undetaken the task of addresstng the graduates of the year and of exhorting them as required by the Regulatio [...] Still my care will be less to endeavour to rise to the dignity of the occasion than to deliver myself faithfully of the message which my limited experence of the University and of the world might seem to entitle rue in the opinion of the Senate to prpound to you to-night.
