[...] And General Mac Arttmr the luminary of the Philippines has also taken up the Supreme Command of the Australian area as well as the Philippines under the request of the Australian Government. [...] The modern war is not a one mainly depending on the strategic genious of the commading officers and the valour of the fighting forces but on the capacity of the combatants to maintain a continuous flow of supplies to the fighting bases and to the intrinsic strength for inexhaustable depostions for raw materials.
