The two new species described in the following pages are distinct from 0. anopheloidcs and its variations in the general colon ration in the markings of the wings and legs and in the length of the palpi of the male. [...] White scales on the inner side and front of each torus and some long white scales on the inner side of the first four or five flagellar segments of the antenna of the male in the female there are similar but shorter scales on the first flagellar segment only; antennal plumes of the male dense the hairs long and arranged chiefly on the dorsal and ventral aspects pale yellow in colour ; in the [...] Palpi of the male about three-quarters the length of the proboscis white scales at the base and apex and a white ring in the middle the remainder black scaled ; palpi of the female less than half the length of the proboscis black scaled with a white marking in the middle and at the tip. [...] Proboscis of the male with a white ring at about the middle and a number of spots of white and yellow scales between the band and the tip a few yellow scales on the upper side along the basal half ; proboscis of the female 'brownish black on the apical half there is a white marking on the dorsal surface and sides and a yellow streak beneath nearer to the tip than the dorsal mark these marking [...] n.
