The name Nujol" is a guarantee to the profession of absolute purity and insures that the viscosity of the liquid petrolatum so labeled is phyqiologically correct at body temperature and in accord with the opinion of leading medical" authorities. [...] On analysis of some of the preparations by the Chemical Analysers Bombay and Bengal they are found to conform to the requirements of British Pharmacopoeia 1914 as regards the quantity of alcohol; the proper amount of alkaloids and absence of impurities. [...] With the possibility of the introduction into the Pasteur Institutes in India of treatment of patients with ether vaccine one must consider the use of other suitable animal's in addition to the rabbit. [...] The Pasteur Institute at Calcutta uses the brains of lambs in the preparation of carbolized anti-rabic vaccine and the results of treatment obtained there are as good as those of other institutes in India. [...] In some of the low-lying districts of the Punjab along the course of such rivers as the Jhelum the Chenab and the Indus the climate is very damp and a virulent type of malaria prevails.
