H. For the treatment of urinary infections The introduction of mandelic acid into modern therapy as a substitute for a ketogenic diet in the treatment of urinary infections is the outcome of an investigation the results of which were reported in The Lancet of 4th May 1935 p. 1032. [...] Promoting the action of the skin and lesseing the tension in the chest Antiphlogistine serves to relieve the pain loosen the cough and shorten the duration of the acute symptoms. [...] Illustrative matter should not be sent in the form of unarranged drawings or photographs but be definitely arranged or allocated by the author as so many textligures or plates as the case may be having due regard to the size and shape of the page of the Journal and the capadity of the drawings or photos for reduction. [...] In the present paper some examples will he considered in which the anti-body samples appear to consist of two types of particles one type consisting of particles each of which occupies one active point and the other type consisting of particles each of which occupies two active points on the surface of the antigens. [...] The difference between the number of units of agglutinin taken and the number of units left free gives the number of units of agglutinin adsorbed.
