The songs chosen for the occasion which included Gurudeva's unique song of unbounded peace : Here in front is the Ocean of Peace deepened among the audience a sense of the presence in spirit of the Asiama-Guru to whom they had congregated that morning to pay their tribute of love and gratitude. [...] This vast field of study was divided into seven convenient though rather arbitrary phases e. g. the age of the Vedas and the epics the age of Buddhism the age of Kalidasa the Middle ages with special reference to the religious movements therein the Middle ages from the view point of socio-political ideas and events Modern times from Hindu Meta to the Swadeshi movement and the period subs [...] This gave the audience the general outline of Gurudeva's own appraisal of the period under consideration and also an impression of the sympathetic strains in his creative writing that harked back to the spirit and movement of that age. [...] But he sufficiently indicated the possibilities of a study of the workings of Gurudeva's mind in relation to the Vedas and Upanishads. [...] The age of Kalidasa discussed on the third day was called up by the recitation of some of Gurudeva's poems on ;deghaduta both in Bengali and in English verse-tributes to Kalidasa the sonnets on Kumar Sambliab and the two beautiful.imaginative excursions into the romantic age namely Sekal and Swapna.
