The terms and conditions of granting of the loans the Minister said were more or less the same in all cases with slight modifications according to the nature and value of the security offered the experience and standing of the management and the type of industry concerned. [...] Asked about the nature of Government control exercised over the Corporation the Minister replied that such control was exercised by nominating three Directors on the Board of the Corporation under Section 10(a) of the Industrial Finance Corporation Act; reserving to itself the right to approve of the nomination of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation and to appoint the Managin [...] The results of such a test depend on the details of the method employed ; in the first place on the size of the openings of the screens used and to a lesser degree on the weight of the sample the period of shaking the sieves etc. [...] If the specifications for the various types of grain in which sugar can be produced are drawn up in terms of the simplified results of a sieving test classifiction of a suger is simply a matter of comparing the results of the sieving test of this sugar with the stanardised specifications for the various classes The methods to be used for reducing the number of the figures expressing the re [...] The weight of the sugar to be sifted is determined the sugar is placed on the top sieve and sifting is carried out for 10 minutes * after which the weight of the six fractions is a scertained.t The weights of the fractions are expressed as percentages of the total weight of the sugar sifted.
