[...] On a 4th November two pergrines were brought to me with sealed eyes.2 The first killed a wild houbara on the 19th of the same month having in that time been thoroughly trained to the lure given two trains of fowls a flying train of night-heron and one of houbat a:5 The second trained in the same way killed on the 21st. [...] Therefore are many of the most degraded classes of men the rabble for the most part such as the Andhras Pazzqras Sabaras Pulindas and Mfitibas descendants of Vi§vämitra." The same legend is repeated in the Sibikhyazta-irauta-sittra with the names modified to Andltriih Putzdräla &buret llfucipd iti.4 The Aitareycz is one of the oldest.
