The sight of that old gentleman responding at the double to the call of the Scoutmaster in charge of the camp Mr. [...] The third part of the promise which shows the means to the end assures the efficient per: formance of the foregoing dual promise. [...] Which scout would not rejoice at the valiant exploits of Shree Ramchandra and Lamana when they accompanied the sage Vishvamitra at a tender age to scout the jungles and destroy the demons ? But with the march of times those institions are practically no more and the centres of eduction have shifted from the healthy life-giving pictuesque and superb surroundings of the Tapovana to [...] The room was on the small side and the locality was not everything to be desired but the spotlessly clean appearance of the place and the scouty -decorations on the walls spoke eloquently for the quality of the scouts. [...] The amalgaination of the two Associations and the possession of a spacious builing in a central place for the Headquarters ought to give a tremendous push forward to the Movement in the City of Bombay.
