Local Associations cannot do better than concentrate on this activity of securing and retaining the grown up Scouts.2 THE BOMBAY SCOUT GAZETTE JUNE 1925 We have to invite the attention of the readers to the Message of the Chief appearing in our Christmas issue and particularly to the latter portion of it where he speaks of the ways and means in which every reader can help the Gazette. [...] But the Conference is )et to establish itself in the reasoned affectione of the general public and this conference is expected by the the promoters to be the precursor of great things for scouting in the Presidency. [...] The capacious grounds the scenery round about the trees and verdure in the number of large and beautiful tents the messing hut the drills the sports the handicrafts the lights ; in fact the arrangements left nothing to be desired ; and those of us who called round one and all wished.
