Much of the wastage caused to food grains in transport and handling and the expenses of collecting food grains to a central place and redistributing them again to the villages can be eliminated through the agency of a co-operative society which is a very reliable medium both from the government as well as from the public point of view. [...] The best part of the afternoon was devoted to prayerful discussion that the party should go back to the heat of Delhi and await me there to rejoin me I descended.
