Poor little boys and girls their only moments of happiness were those passed in the school-room darkened indeed in too many instances by the shadows of the tall crowding buildings but made bright by the gentle voice of the black-gowned nun and the crucifix and pious prints on the whitened walls ; or those they spent in the parish church at the children's Sunday Mass when in blending treble and [...] 0 Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary I offer Thee my prayers works and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Thy Sacred Heart in union with the Holy Sacrfice of the Mass throughout the world for the intentions of all oar Associates and especially for the spiritual needs of Christian youth. [...] The prosperous and the poor the educated and the uneducated the prominent and the unknown were there—proud to pay homage to the aged negress. [...] The Godhead was still to be there and the grandeur of the Godhead was still to be manifested in ways even more glorious ; but alongside all this was to be realised the infinite condescension of God ; no longer was fear sufficient but the love of the heart of man was to be made the blossom of his faith. [...] It is bounded on the north by the Prefecture Apostolic of Kafristan and Kashmir on the east by the Archdiocese of Agra on the south by the Diocese of Bajputana and on the west by the Diocese of Lahore.
