Thus authority is reconciled with liberty the dignity of the individual with that of the State the human persoality of the subject with the divine delegation of the superior; and in this way a balance is struck between the due dependence and the welordered love of a man for himself his family and country and his love of other families and other peoples founded on the love of God the Fat [...] Catholics in Germany have for the past years been subjected to a subtle hypocritical persecution at the hands of the followers of the Nazi ideology of the worship of the State the race and man. [...] Capitalism in our day has robbed the Farm and detroyed the liberty of the Private Family; therefore Distributism goes back to the Land and to the Home and seeks to abolish the evils of Capitalist society and restore fredom to the individual and the family by an equal distribution of property. [...] After the dismemberment of the old empires of Europe there came the rise of the principle of nationalism and the creation of a number of new states. [...] As a witness to the education of public opinion on this subject came the passage of the Bombay Children Act in 1924 its enforcement in the City of Bombay the creation of the Children's Aid Society and the opeing of the Umarkhadi Children's Home in 1927 and the extension of the Children Act to the Bombay Suurban District in 1931.
