The above by no means exhausts the doleful list of the grievances of the poor Indian Students in the United Kingdom. [...] It is well that the C. P. Government has profited by the mistake of Sir James Meston and decided to ascertain the views of the people before sumiffing the Bill to the Government of India. [...] It is the accused that should get the benefit of doubt ; here the cast of the proceedings was such that the Prosecution itself might claim that much needed benefit. [...] He opened his case by saying that he relied on the whole of every one of the three speeches and he c'used it by reading the speeches from the beginning to the EL.:1 If he ever stepped it was to dispel the tedium ; but he could hardly even vary the phrase Mr. [...] At the outset Mr Binning proposed to call evidence to prove the speeches which were the subject-matter of the charge the allegation against Mr.
