A suit to recover compensation for land acquired instituted on the refusal of the Collector to award any compesation under the Land Acquisition Act is governed by article 120 of Schedule XX of the Limitation Act the right to sue accruing either from the date of the acquisition or the refusal by the Collector to award compensation. [...] The mere construction of a railway bridge across a river whereby the profits of the ferry are reduced does not entitle the owner to claim damages; but where lands and both banks of the river which were used go landing places for the ferry were acquired for the purpose of a railway bridge and the access to the river and with it the exercise of the franchise was detroyed the owner was entit [...] (1) Any person interested who has not accepted the Reference to Court award may by written application to the Collector require that the matter be referred by the Collector for the determination of the Court whether his objection be to the measurement of the land the amount of the compensation the persons to whom it is payable or the apportioment of the compensation among the persons inte [...] NOTE 2.—The Board as Court of Wards has under the authority of Government delegated to Collectors of districts the power of deciding whether an application should be made by the Manager of a Ward's attached or an encumbered estate to the Land Acquisition Officer under section 18 of Act I of 1894 for a reference to the Civil Court when in the opinion of the Collector the award is incorrect [...] (2) In all oases of moneys deposited to which this section applies the Court shall order the costs of the following matters including therein all reasonable charges and expenses incident thereto to be paid by the Collector namely :— (a) the costs of such investments as aforesaid; (b) the costs of the orders for the payment of the interest or other proceeds of the securities upon which such mon
