It is bounded on the North by the district of the Panch Mahals and the State of Baria in the Bombay Presidency ; on the South by the district of Khandesh and by the Narbada river which forms the common boundary between this State and the State of Barwani ; on the West by the State of Chhota Udepur in the Rewa Kantha Agency ; and on the East by the Central India States of G-walior Indore Jobat a [...] With the exception of small rivulets the rivers in the State are the Narbada and the Hatni which flows from north to south and eventually falls into the Narbada. [...] teirig the sea of the Family God it is still annually visited by His Highness the Raja Sahib and the Ruling Family for the performance of the Dashahara Puja. [...] He is a Companion of the most eminent order of the Indian Empire and possesses the Donat of the Hospital of St. [...] The health of all the members of the Ruling Family was on the whole good.
