These are :— I.—A mountainous zone roughly forming the western third of district and comprising the eastern flanks of the Arracan Yotnahs a very distinct narrow range of low hills running from north to so of the district closely parallel with and a few miles to the east of6 THE VEGETATION OF THE DISTRICT OF It flows mainly in a north-easterly direction joining the Ira-wad:el just north of Minbu [...] the south by the Man river on the east by the part of the lrawaildy alluvial belt between the Man and Mon rivers ; on the north.
