Thew is d good'deal in these letters not very intelligibleoowing to the fr entary nature of the surviving correspondence and it is nok easy to nn' tend the transisction about the horses against which Pitt appeals BO strenuously to Vincent in the letter nest to be quoted : "To the Worshipful) MATTHIAS VINCENT Chiefefor the dffaires of the h [...] " Homed Er: "say : doe us the favour to send for the Nognida and make him immediately send off the Surango 4 with all the Ships Lascars and Ships boats; and all things that I ordered him to provide for the Voyage especally the bolts of which hee carried the Measures.
