[...] IN this Rate was the fyftem of revenue management when the Legiflature of Great Britain prefcribed an amendment ; a Spreme Civil Government a Supreme Court of Judicature a limitation of the Copany's dividend an affumption of three fourths of the furplus of the net rvenues in behalf of the nation and the feparation of the revenue from the comercial department were the principal fea [...] By this rgulation the rents of the lands will pafs direffly from the occupier into the hands of the Company ; the circulation of money will be quicker ; the revenue will be greatly augmented and feveral of the molt conlderable people will be provided with revnues independant of every one but the Company ; inflead of the wealth of the country being fwallowed up as at prefent by the Shro [...] The fait manufactured will be in proportion to the confumption of the inhabitants; and as the demand for it will be regular and the profits to the dealers in it will be certain the only ojets to be compafred by the regulations upon the trade will be to raife a branch of income to the Company to fupply the confumption of the inhabitants at a modrate and fixed price and to alloW a certain
