Applications for leave on to of the indisposition of a member of an officer's family are to be supported by certificates under the signature of a medical officer showing the necessity for the grant of the leave applied for. [...] l*partments under the government are to con-fain the consent of the deputy commissary general of the circle or heads of departments concerned who will in the case of privilege leave forward the application to the general officer in local command and for general leave to the secretary to government in the military department. [...] In the cases of officers recommended brmedical boards to proceed on leave in anticipation of sanction the local head of the department will at once forward the proceedings to the general officer in command who is empowered to permit the officer to proceed. [...] (h) Applications from officers of the military accounts department are to be submitted to the controller of military accounts for sanction in the case of privilege leave and for transmission to the secretary to government military department in the case of general leave. [...] The proceedings of the board are to be attached to the application for leave and in those cases where the applicant is proceeding out of India for a period over two months a statement is to be forwarded to the military secretary to the commander-in-chief showing on what account the leave is required for what period to what date the accounts have been completed and sent in and the arrangement
