Superintendent Civil Veterinary Department Sind Baluchistan and Rajputana To THE FIRST ASSISTANT TO THE HON'IlLE THE AGENT TO THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN RAJPUTANA MOUNT ABU (Through the Commissioner Ajmer-Merwara Ajmer.) Karachi the 30th May 1914. [...] Copy of the above together with copy of the enclosures forwarded to the Agricultural Adviser to the Government of India and Director of Agricultural Research Institute Pusa for information. [...] This is due to the fact that most of the animals were sent out of the districts for grazing owing to scarcity of fodder and thus there were fewer outbreaks of disease reported during the year under report than the last year. [...] There were two bulls present on the 1st of April 1913 the property of the District Local Board Ajmer none were added during the year and there was a balance of two at the close of the year. [...] ". The decrease in the number of villages visited and the cases treated is due to the causes mentioned under the head "Ajmer Veterinary Hospital.""3 V.—EXPENDITURE of THE DEPARTMENT.
