In view of the fall in market prices and the rise in cost of production it is some satisfaction that the Company has earned a trading profit for the past year. [...] The compulsory winding up of the International Tea Market Expansion Board through withdrawal of support by some of the interests concerned comes just at the time when with the lifting of controls there is a chance of encouraging the public in this country to drink more tea and to supply them with their full requirements. [...] In conclusion the Board wish to express their appreciation to the European and Pakistani Staff to the Labour on the estates to our Brokers and to our Agents and Secretaries for the work put in on behalf of the Company during the year under review. [...] REPORT BY THE DIRECTORS The Directors submit to the members their Annual Report with audited Accounts for the year ended 31st December 1951. [...] In our opinion and to the best of our information and according to the explanations/es us the said accounts give the information required by the Companies Art l948 in the manner se required and the Balance Sheet gives a true and fair view of the state of the Company fia rm as at 31st December 1951 and the Profit and Loss Account gives a true and fair view of the profit for the year ended on that
