So far as regards the Hazrtra District Act III of 1870 (the Agror Valley Act) is repealed; such parts of the District as have been dealt with under the Act are restored to the jurisdiction of the ordnary Courts of the Civil and Criminal Judicature and to the control of the offices of revenue constituted by the Rules Regulations and Acts in force in the territories under the control of the Li [...] 11 the loss of any land in the manner above stated be proved and if the claiant has no other land or insufficient land left for the support of himself and his dependents and if the enforcement of the claim shall not be on other grounds inequitable the investigating officer shall decree to the claimant such portion of the shamihiland aforesaid as may appear equitable with reference to the [...] The customs affecting the village-site thus to be ascertained shall have the same force as the rest of the settlethent-record; but the individual entries in the list of tenements shall only be prima facie evdence of the facts therein stated. [...] Except as expressly provided in these rules all the proceedings of the Hantra settlement shall be regulated by the spirit of the enactments under which the first settlements of the interior Districts of the Panjab were carried out. [...] Half of the said Eiei o.niorage shall as laid down in 1857 be reserved to Government for the puposes of thee.rules; and 'shall be held in deposit to the credit of the Forest Officer in executive charge of the Haztira District to be spent by him on the Hazara Forests under the rules of his Department.
