His Excellency the Governor of Bengal who from the inception of the idea had sown -keen 2PROCEEDINGS OF THE BENIAL EDUCATION WEEK interest in the proposal iind had kindly.agreed to become the Patron of the Education Week generoUsly made a dination of Rs. [...] Through the courtesy of our Vice-President the VicChancellor of the Calcutta University the University bac:rigs were freely placed at our disposal and the Principal of the Presidency Colleg allowed us the use of the Hare School and Baker Laboratory buildings. [...] The majority of the meetings were held in the Senate House Asutosh Hall and in the Old Library Hall of the University while for the smaller meetings the Lecture theatres in the Baker Laboratory were utilized. [...] A limited number of delegates were taken to see the Meteorological Observatory the Statesman and the Ananda Bazar Patrika offices to the Aerodrom at Dumdum to the Dockyards of the P. & 0. and allied companies to the generating station of the Calcutta Electric Supply Company and to the factories of Messrs. [...] Through the courtesy of the Physical Director Bengal the Provincial Organizing Secretary of the Bratachari Association and the Educational Officer of the Calcutta Corporation a most instructive programme was arranged by the Sports Committee.
