This is the second part of the sixth volume of the Triennial Catalogue of Manuscripts and is prepared on the same plan as that of the second part of the fifth volume. [...] The Vaisnava name of the father and the gaiva name of the son taken together with the indirect yet devout references to God Subrahmanya in the many puns in this poem and the benediction of longvity on the Tiruvaymoii of Tiru Nammal val. [...] It deals with the various topics of Indian Medicine like the feeling of the pulse the diagnosis of diseases with the help of the pulse and the preparation of different kinds of pills oils etc. [...] The whole thing is put in the form of a prayer made by a lady to the God of Love to bring about the union of herself with the ruler of Urrumalai Marudappan.
